Vinification:

Produced from thinned out grapes to increase the quality of the wine from the start; during the harvesting only the perfectly ripe bunches are selected and de-stemmed in order to reduce the damage to the grapes to a minimum.
The maceration on the skins lasts at least 15 days; during this period pumping over and delicate pressings are performed. The drawn wine is put into used casks where malolactic fermentation takes place. After 12 months of aging in barriques the wine is bottled.

Tasting:

Purple red in colour, the nose perceives prevailing notes of red fruit combined with spicy notes of vanilla and cocoa. In the mouth it is full-bodied with an intense structure and obvious tannins. The conclusion is complex and persistent.
